Care facility for people with special needs

The new workshop for handicapped people in Lorsch is a one-storey, approx. 6 m high building with a built-up area of ​​around 4,800 m². The building was completed in 2010 and includes a workshop, laundry, social rooms, offices, a canteen and a high-bay warehouse. A trapezoidal sheet metal roof with greenery on steel structures with spans of up to 15 m was chosen as the roof structure. In addition, reinforced concrete ceilings, (prefabricated) reinforced concrete walls and a sandwich facade were implemented.
